Jeff Fuchs has served the MWCC in a variety of roles since its inception in 1996. He began as a the Plant Manager of one of the Consortia's charter members, and contributed to the initial design of the MWCC and its tools and products.

      Jeff has over 12 years of lean and six sigma experience, and over twenty years of leadership experience in a variety of roles. His industry background includes automotive, aerospace, and machining, in roles ranging from Project Engineer, Quality Manager, Engineering Director, and Plant Manager.

      For over ten years, Jeff has been President of Neovista Consulting, a firm focusing on lean implementation, leadership development, and organizational change.  Neovista's client list includes the United States Air Force, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, GlaxoSmithKline, Halliburton, and nearly a hundred small firms around the world.  Since 2006, Jeff has been a key contributor to the development and deployment of the country's first nationally recognized Lean Certification, sponsored jointly by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, and the Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence.

      Jeff is a veteran former Army officer and received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with honors from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is a member of many professional organizations, including AIAA, AME, APICS, ASQ, ASME, SAMPE, and SME.  Jeff maintains an SME/AME/Shingo Prize Lean Bronze Certification and is on the Shingo Prize Board of Examiners.
