The Maryland World Class Consortia holds regular meetings each quarter for members, potential members, supporters, and guests. Each meeting is a half-day "mini-conference" that provide new developments among Consortia members, examples of World Class tools in action, and networking with active practitioners.
Speakers for this quarter:
Shawn Wolf of Outside Force Consulting will present an interactive session on the topic: Leading in a lean enterprise is about "nexting", kaizen, eventing yourself, and figuring out how to have everyone ask WIIFO!
Jamison Hunsberger of Intralox will be discussing continuing lean transformation. Intralox has been growing rapidly and lean has been instrumental in helping them grow efficiently. Also, Intralox has been working intensively with Toyota's non-profit organization TSSC.
Jeff Fuchs - Director of MWCC fresh back from Toyota Kata Summit will speak about Toyota Kata and the habits of daily improvement.
