This tour is provided in conjunction with The Maryland World Class Consortia Quarterly Meeting.

The tour is strictly limited to the first 30 registrants. 

All participants must be MWCC members or their invited guests, and must also be registered for the Quarterly Meeting.

Tour participants may not wear open toe, open heel, or high heel shoes.  If participants have safety shoes or safety glasses, please bring them.

GE Healthcare Technologies' Laurel facility manufactures the Giraffe and Panda lines of incubators and other medical devices for pre-natal infants.  Your tour guides will show you examples of their lean innovations that have completely transformed their manufacturing process.  They will describe the training they received directly from Japanese Lean Senseis and the dramatic results of their multi-year lean journey.
